    Hi Timm!

    Wondering if you can offer any assistance. I too am trying to stream video from a rpi camera which will be on a UAV :). My RPI has a USB Verizon dongle to give it unlimited range.. although just for testing, it’s on my home wired network.

    The difference is that I’m trying to bounce the connectionthrough a linux server hosted on AWS to try and allow both the UAV and the viewer to be on NAT’d networks.

    I’m using your gst-launch command with rpicamsrc plugin, and when I try to stream to a RTSP server on an amazon server, I’m getting a huge lag.. like 10+ seconds!

    I can join a janus conf room with UV4L with almost no lag, but when I try to join a janus 1:1 web chat with gstreamer, same deal – huge lag.

    Just wondering if you had any ideas!

      Wow. Truth is, you’re going to get a lot of lag hopping through a cellular network and then bouncing the connection around. I don’t know if you can chew off that lag without taking some pieces out of the communication path.
